We are hiring a full-stack software engineer. Here is a no-bullshit write up of what we do, what we believe in, how we work and what we work with: https://gtm.sale/hiring What we do: GodmodeHQ is the go-to-market operating system. We are building a sales and marketing enablement software that allows teams to find leads with AI, manage relationships on Linkedin and email in a single inbox and organise their media marketing. 1️⃣ What we believe in: - Hold bold ideas weakly - Optimism shapes reality - Obsession beats talent every time - Companies lose their soul when they exceed 15 people 2️⃣ How we work: - We work remotely. Ideally we would like to get more revenue to get into an office together. - We are in European timezone - UK, Germany etc - We keep the team small, 4-5 people. We hate layoffs. We hire only when it hurts. - We are customer requests and feedback obsessed with always a twist from our own creativity. 3️⃣ What you will work with: - Work with Python

When you look at another company and think, “Wow, they are winning a ton of awards, they must be amazing,” what you are seeing is just the tip of the iceberg. But what’s really driving that company’s success is the 90% that lies below the surface – the relentless dedication and unseen daily victories. Don’t get me wrong, awards are nice and we’ve had our share. But at Geisel Software we like to celebrate doing great work every day, solving hard problems for our customers, and making the hard decisions that support our culture and values – the stuff that truly makes us great. A pivotal moment came when, instead of hiring a temporary iOS developer, we bet on a full-time talent who has since contributed to diverse projects far beyond their initial role. This decision underscores our belief: investing in exceptional talent and fostering a strong culture propels us beyond momentary achievements. Success isn't just about the accolades we collect; it's about the value we deliver and the impact we make every day. Let's celebrate those unseen efforts that truly drive progress. 👉 I'm curious: What behind-the-scenes achievement has been a cornerstone of your success? #GeiselSoftware #Leadership #Innovation #Commitment #SuccessBeyondTheSurface

Product Driven Founder/CTO for 20 years, Bootstrapped a SaaS company to a 9 figure exit, CEO of Full Scale
This might be controversial: We have a weird personality requirement for hiring software developers. What is the personality requirement? 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆!! Showing up to virtual meetings and barely saying a word does not create good teamwork. In a world of 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆, social and interpersonal skills are much more important. We need people who can write code and carry on a conversation. #teamwork

We're almost at the end of 2024. Why is this post still true and relevant today? What kind of recruiters/employers/hiring managers/TAs think that they can still get away with listing these and other such inane things as "benefits"? My personal favourites: "Gadget allowance" - So you'll give me an "allowance" to get equipment to do the job you're hiring me to do in the first place? "28 days annual leave" - In the UK, that is the statutory entitlement. It's not a benefit. It'd be illegal if you tried to offer me less! "Company pension plan" - Again, in the UK, all employers must offer a workplace pension scheme by law. It's not a benefit, numbnuts! Don't even get me started on Workperks, Perkbox or any of those other useless "employee discount" programs. When you whittle it down, many companies really only have one or two "real" benefits! I'm curious, what are the $h1ttest "benefits" you've come across?

Last week, a startup spent $1.8m (72% of their preseed funding) on a single domain name. Friend.com. Might work out. Ever start writing by typing docs.new into the address bar? As of today, you can start creating a long-term home at coop.new*. Might work out. *0.06% of our preseed funding. **what happens after users fill out this form? Well, its complicated. We are hiring a senior product engineer to help make it simple. Building neat heaps of typescript & react/react native, alongside Tom.
