Wine basics: hold a glass of wine by the stem and not the bowl like Lord Edward seen here from the hit Netflix series The Gentlemen. Holding a glass of wine by the stem prevents you from unintentionally heating up the wine and altering it's flavours and aromas. Also, you'll keep your glassware looking cleaner without all the fingerprints. Santé. #winebasics #wine #wineglass #glassware #vin #levin #wein

Wine tastings, potlucks, movie nights, and tapas buffets are all fun ways to spend time with friends and family-- but why not try something new? A #SaltTasting is an excellent way to indulge in #NewFlavors and get creative! Various #salts have different tastes, textures, and levels of saltiness. To set up a salt tasting, I recommend offering at least 6 different types of salt (think: Himalayan, smoked, flavored, etc.), and make sure each is clearly labeled. For enhanced aesthetics, find small bowls and spoons for each salt. Then, think about what you'll use as a vessel for the salt. I like to provide small pieces of avocado, watermelon, orange, buttered toast, and something sweet, like a cookie or brownie. Encourage your guests to step of out their comfort zone and try something new! #SaltedFruit sounded wild to me at first but now I love it. Make sure everyone has a glass of water nearby and enjoy! #SeaSaltSuperstore #Culinary

📝A medium intense pale lemon color. A distinctive note of spices, red apple and crushed white flowers. Lots of texture, freshness, a light body and a rocky note, with pleasant juiciness. This is the tasting note elaborated by our jury for the selected wine of Al-Cantàra 🍷 #5StarWines2023 #WineWithoutWalls2023 #5StarWinestheBook #ItalianWinery #ItalianWine #VinoItaliano

Your wine preference based on your coffee of choice! Choosing a wine can be a quite difficult task for many of us, we don’t know what to look for exactly or which characteristics or features would be to our liking. Yet, It seems easier for us to pick out our favourite coffee to the point where it has become almost instinctive every time we order it or make it. So here’s what wine you might like based on your coffee preference! 1️⃣ Coffee without any milk or sugar - try a dry Italian red wine made from the Sangiovese grape, perhaps from the Tuscany region. 2️⃣ High roasted aromatics of an espresso, try a lovely dry red wine from the Medoc region of Bordeaux. 3️⃣ Coffee with a little bit of milk, Try like a Merlot or a Zinfandel. 4️⃣ Coffee with sugar, try dry off dry or sweeter styles of wines like theIndian Chenin Blanc, Californian Moscato or a German Riesling. Tag all your coffee addict friends and let them know this is what they need to drink next! #sonalholland #masterofwine #explorepage #coffeelover #wines #winerecommendations

Why do we use bubbly to toast in the New Year❓ 🔗 link in bio https://lnkd.in/ghaQsMHF 🥂 Italy produces several styles. One of the most popular, prosecco, is a dry, crisp wine, with a vibrantly floral and citrus character. About a third of proseccos are called frizzante; they have a lighter mousse than most, which are described as spumante, or fully sparkling. The second type of Italian sparkler, asti, has long been considered a syrupy concoction, but modern versions are much more balanced and refreshing. 🍇 Spanish sparkling wine, or cava (meaning cellar), offers some of the best values. Cavas are made with the traditional champagne method, but using three white Spanish grapes: macabeo, parellada and xarel-lo. 🍁 (Canada) sparkling wine is called just that as is American bubbly. It’s usually made from the same grapes used in Champagne – chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot Meunier – and using the same techniques such as doing a second fermentation in the bottle to trap the bubbles. 🚢 The Titanic was one of the few ships not to be christened with champagne. 🍾 There are 250 million bubbles on average. Yes, a desperate doctoral candidate in France counted them. What sparkling wines are you opening this New Year Eve❓ Let me know in the comments below👇 #Natdecants #cava #cremant #sparklingwine #prosecco #newyears #nye #nye2024 #newyearseve2024 #newyearseve #wine #winenot #winetime #wineoclock #cheers #champagne #wineeducation #wine101 #ilovewine #wineblog #winepassion
