Really very shameful "Marathi People Not Welcome" HR recruiter in IT Code INFOTECH Janvi Sarna In one of her LinkedIn post she mentioned a very discriminatory condition "#Marathi People are not welcome here" This is unacceptable Action should be such that no one in the country will discriminate ever again. The Holy Land of God's Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Principles in bloodline of marathi people's are facing discrimination in Jobs recruitment. This is not the 1st time that Marathi people are facing discrimination. There have been many cases in Mumbai. Marathis are hated in their own soil maharashtra by mostly Gujratis,Marwaris. We have been very inclusive, welcoming for everybody's. Many places in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik Thane, Navi Mumbai etc.. Native Marathi folks aren't hired deliberately. High time we Maharashtrians demand atleast 60% of all private jobs in Maharashtra to be reserved for native Maharashtrians." Companies will not offer work from home as long as employees are ok with work from office. Last month my friend quit his current job and moved to Bangalore for a 30% hike. He also had offers from his hometown in Indore. The extra amount he was to make in Bangalore was 4 lakhs. Today due to water shortage he has moved back home and is regretting his decision to move to bangalore. I can say with certainty given the opportunity he would most definitely do it again . The reason is simple : Most of us associate CTC with self-respect and value and not payment to cover cost of living. In fact it is the same with Indian students going abroad draining their parents bank accounts. They would rather be a lower middle class in a foreign country than be a upper class in their own home. Same reason : Associating CTC with self-worth . Everyone wants a remote job. But how many will take a pay cut for it?
