🚀 As we step into 2025, everyone is talking about AI agents like in this WSJ article. Many of the businesses I am talking with are asking: What should we automate with AI? But here’s the thing — before you can automate, you need a clear map of your processes. And that starts with capturing and documenting tacit knowledge. Take agentic flows, for example. You might know what needs to happen but lack a structured understanding of the process it takes to get there. That’s because much of this knowledge lives in people’s heads, not in your systems. So setting up an agentic flow takes two steps: Step 1: Capture and document those workflows. Step 2: Identify what’s ready for automation, and how to go about it. I’m curious: How many of you are facing challenges identifying the processes they want to automate? And how are you going about it? Would love to hear your thoughts! https://lnkd.in/eaH4XfE7

How is your organization documenting critical business processes today? And how might automation opportunities presented by AI/Agent development form your future process capture and workflow automation activities? A whiteboard full of post-it notes, multiple departments and stakeholders needing to gather live or virtually and hash out processes, complex Miro boards may be a thing of the past - if we are able to capture tacit knowledge about processes through structured conversations with a boost from AI. Thoughts?
