A new housing and training center in Ohio’s Appalachian region will provide apartments, job support, behavioral health services and a teaching kitchen to young people who are aging out of foster care – part of The Appalachian Children Coalition to provide resources for some of Ohio’s underserved communities. Our client wanted to revolutionise their approach to adult social care, prioritising a "people first" philosophy. We were proud to partner with them in developing and implementing a comprehensive program to achieve this goal. Here's a snapshot of what we achieved: - Co-Designed Strategy: Over 1,000 voices from the community, staff, and partners directly shaped a new 4-year strategic plan - Data-Driven Transformation: Through in-depth reviews, we assessed current service delivery against evolving needs to ensure recommendations and suggestions were future-proof. - Delivery for Change: We provided comprehensive support throughout the implementation process, including governance structure development, commissioning strategies, operational improvements, and building strong partnerships. The outcome? A shared vision for adult social care, strong foundations for change, and a market primed for future needs. Bristol City Council’s Adult Social Care committee has launched a new Adult Social Care Co-Production Policy, a first for the council.
