As waiting times are getting longer, more and more employers are adopting Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) to help their teams manage personal and work related health and wellbeing issues. However over 60% of the most common health conditions are not covered. With a system struggling to keep pace with changing healthcare needs – from chronic illnesses to mental health – a new EAP model is needed which provides employees with access to primary care.
