It's just hard to stay motivated... 🐒 We've all been through those times when working on our 3D projects can feel pretty overwhelming, and it seems like our creative mojo has taken a vacation. But you know what? It's in these moments that our resilience and passion for art truly shine! Here's how I think of it: 🔶 Embrace the Journey: Remember, the creative process is as important as the final piece. 🔶 Set Small Goals: Break your project into achievable milestones for a sense of accomplishment. 🔶 Find Inspiration Everywhere: Seek inspiration in nature, books, conversations, or daily life. 🔶 Stay Curious: Explore new techniques and mediums to keep your creativity alive. 🔶 Connect with Fellow Artists: Share experiences, ideas, and struggles with your artistic community. 🔶 Celebrate Small Wins: Acknowledge even the tiniest successes as they contribute to your journey. 🔶 Practice Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself during creative blocks; it's an opportunity for growth. 🔶 Visualize Your Goals: Create a vision board or journal to keep your aspirations in focus. Remember, artistic paths have challenges, and the worst part is that art is subjective. None knows exactly what went on behind the scenes. But challenges exist to make you and I stronger, and so our talent sharpens. Stay passionate, and get better everyday. #3Dartist #myjourney #motivation #advertisingagency

Celebrating 6 years with UST It's easy to showcase our big successes on platforms like LinkedIn, but today, I want to share a different side of my journey that has shaped me into who I am today. 1. Worked with BPOs and practised customer service skills. 2. Worked with IT service desk and polished my technical skills. 3. Dual promoted in a year and led a team of 40, training them on what I mastered. 4. 50 plus client appreciations. 5. Self learnt the art of websites, graphics, and video editing. 6. All these experiences collectively encouraged me to establish my own identity in #ust Thrilled to be part of UST where innovation, collaboration, and excellence are not just buzzwords but deeply ingrained values. From empowering employees to fostering a culture of inclusivity, I'm continuously inspired by the dedication to making a meaningful impact in our industry. Grateful to be part of such a dynamic and forward-thinking team! #CompanyPride #Gratitude" I've encountered my fair share of challenges. But each hurdle wasn't just an obstacle; it was an opportunity for growth. #EmbraceStruggles #GrowthMindset #Resilience #PersonalDevelopment

#careertip Tuesday So, you want to be an Art Director? Tip No.17 - Keep your promises! As Directors we deliver a lot of information to our employees. We say things, we mean them by the time the words are being spoken but sometimes we forget about the fact that we have made a promise. Whether it was ‘i will help you with that’ or even a simple ‘i’ll get back to you with my feedback later on’ make sure to stick to your word. I have observed a new Lead once, coming from outside of the organization, declaring to his new team ‘i’m here to learn from you’. He didn’t. He never listened to the feedback they were giving him, he kept making empty promises and being ‘absent’ when his people needed him the most. Don’t be this guy, say only things you truly mean to your team, make notes, check your promises list to make sure you keep them. Be better.

As artists, we often face tough decisions to support our craft. Sometimes, that means taking on a full-time job for a period, cutting back costs or even relocating. These choices are not always fun, but they’re a crucial step in our journey as creatives. 💼 Whether it's to fund our next project, gain stability, or learn new skills, these choices are part of our growth. They don't diminish our artistry; they strengthen it. 🌟 So, here's to all of us who've taken the less-traveled path to keep our dreams alive. 🙌 I’d love to know: What tough choices have you made to balance your 🎨passion and 💸financial stability?💬💡

#careertip Tuesday So, you want to be an Art Director? Tip No.20 - Find a project that you love (and thank me later) Have you ever noticed how quickly you mastered recognizing car brands/ learned the lore of your favorite fantasy saga/ got to know all the possible types of ships in the game you’ve spent already hundreds of hours in? Yeah, it’s because you are *into it*. That’s fine, this is how our brains work and this is transferable to how you should think about your work as well. As stated before there are many ways of doing exactly the same thing. Some of the ways are considered ‘optimal’ to achieve the goal - like jogging/ running to lose weight for example. The thing is i find running boring as h*** and never even started doing it on a regular basis. This rule applies to work environment as i strongly believe that you would either be unable or (at least) struggle a lot to peak your creativity on a project that you don’t find interesting. It might be challenging sometimes (because of economical reasons for example) but i will encourage you to work only on the projects that you’re excited about. This way you will understand and learn it faster and working on it won’t really seem like ‘a job’, it will be lots of fun and you’ll get paid for it on top of everything else. Don’t waste your time on lukewarm projects that you’re not really interested in as a player AND/ OR creator.

#careertip Tuesday So, you want to be an Art Director? Tip No.7 - Trust is earned, not given. Make yourself as transparent to your teams as possible. Show them your pipelines, explain the goals, allow them to see you actually work and be honest about your mistakes. Create an environment where it’s fine to make mistakes as long as we learn from them. Promote looking back only to find better solutions and not to point fingers. Trust them to trust you and you'll get there <3
