Thank you to everyone who came out to yesterday’s Montgomery County Quarterly Career and Resource Fair! Despite the rain, we had an incredible turnout with over 100 jobseekers and 35 employers filling the room with great energy. We are so grateful to our co-hosts, Maryland Department of Labor and The Universities at Shady Grove, our partners, employers, the eagerness of our jobseekers, and our amazing team for making the day such a success. 📌ICYMI: We conduct quarterly career and resource fairs in March, June, September, and December. We had a great time hosting a roundtable discussion with leaders from the Australian Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and the U.S. Department of Labor last week at the Wheaton AJC. Although we're thousands of miles apart, we learned we have many commonalities and relevant best practices.
