AASCTF proudly supports the Davao Public Transport Modernization Project (DPTMP), led by the City Government of Davao with the Department of Transportation - Philippines (DOTr). This landmark project is financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The project has achieved a milestone. Four civil works contracts were signed on February 7, pushing the project forward.👏 Once completed, this project will deploy around 1,000 electric and Euro-5 compliant buses that will address road congestion and reduce CO2 emissions. ADB Director General Winfried Wicklein, in his message at the signing ceremony, noted that he shares ADB’s hopes for the project to serve as a model for just transition initiatives for cities in the Philippines as well as in the greater Asia and the Pacific region.
