We talk a lot about changing organizational culture, and why it's so difficult. I think really it comes down to one thing - we're using the wrong word. It's not organizational 'culture', it's organizational 'comfort'. Your organization's culture, whatever that may look like, is there because that's what leadership is 'comfortable' with. If they weren't, then they'd change it themselves without any prompting. So when you're talking about changing a culture, remember, what you're really asking is for leadership to be 'uncomfortable'. And that is a *much* harder sell.

Passionate about Building Talent and Culture | Seasoned People Executive | Change Agent | Founder & CEO - iRevü
In the realm of business leadership, one of the most powerful assets at our disposal is culture. It's not merely organizational dynamics; it's a strategic imperative that can make or break trajectory in the market. Echoing Gary Vaynerchuk, “In a nutshell, culture is the ‘heartbeat’ of a company. It's something that lights up the entire system. If a company has great culture, it can be the backbone of their success.” In other words: culture is the cornerstone. I am a PROUD Xcelerator: we recognize that cultivating a vibrant culture isn't just a lofty goal; it's a strategic imperative. I take immense pride in our commitment to fostering an environment where collaboration flourishes, and every team member is empowered to unleash their full potential. Our culture isn't just who we are; it's a manifestation of our strategic vision and values. It's what sets us apart, drives our performance, and ultimately, propels us toward our aspirations. I wanted to take a moment to champion the significance of culture. Together, we all need to build organizations where culture isn't just a component of success—it's the bedrock upon which we build legacies. #StrategicCulture #ProudLeader #MondayMotivation

Leadership Tip of the Week: Corporate culture is by nature always asking for more. But we are all more effective at a tipping point. When we go past that, even for a good cause, we start to empty ourselves and become less valuable. Rarely does anyone ask you to do less.

“Commitment culture” 🫶 Building a vibrant culture is critical. It’s all around us. Yet, we often overlook it.🤔 Creating a ‘high-commitment culture’ means excellence emerges naturally. It hinges on three pillars: 1. Purpose and Meaning: Everyone needs to know the ‘why’ behind their work.✅ 2. Connection: Check-in often. Ask: Are our people joyful or troubled, inspired or disheartened?✅ 3. Safety: Making mistakes should be okay. It’s about growing and learning together.✅ Culture isn’t just a top-down approach. It’s woven by everyone, from interns to CEOs. Shared responsibility is key.🤝 #OrganizationalCulture #Leadership #Teamwork #EmployeeEngagement #BusinessGrowth #WorkplaceSafety #ProfessionalDevelopment
