Senior VP @ CBRE | Commercial Real Estate Expert Posts and comments are my own and do not reflect my employers, partners, or clients views. 🇺🇸
Thanks to the Las Vegas Review-Journal for including me in this article about University of Nevada-Las Vegas tech park and what it will bring to our community. Here's what I had to say: "Creating more buildings with a specific purpose, like the T-Mobile one, could happen more often at the tech park because Las Vegas is a tough market to pre-lease to tenants looking for a smaller space in a new office building. It might be more productive for UNLV to find a few bigger companies looking to invest more in the Las Vegas market rather than find a lot of companies looking to occupy a small space at the tech park." What are your thoughts? Will this help diversify our local economy? #UNLV #LasVegasRealEstate
UNLV’s tech park still growing, targets high-profile companies

Totally resonate. Digitalization sounds so fancy and high-tech where in reality, a successful transformation is the willingness to change and embrace changes. What is the purpose of transformation if it doesn't save cost, bring higher revenue and create high efficiency workforce? #workplacetransformation #Agile #Scrum #CIAgile

Beautifully said Jeff Winter! #DigitalTransformation is about so much more than cool technology...and DT tech is not a "quick fix"! DT initiatives take culture change, strategic planning, iteration, cooperation, determination...and of course, tech. 😉 What are your thoughts on what is needed for successful Digital Transformation (outside of technology)? #SmartFactory #Manufacturing #Warehouse #Warehousing #3PL

Global Operations Executive | MBA | MS in Computer Integrated Manufacturing | Expertise in Industry 4.0 & IIOT Smart Manufacturing, Robotics, Digital Transformation of Manufacturing & Supply Chain Leadership
As the author Jeff Winter shares, digitalization of manufacturing is a nuanced journey. 1. It is about the people! Understand the impact on the users, address their concerns and map the new skill sets they will need to be successful. 2. Take the time to chart the digitization waypoints, that leads to your destination and frequently reviewing the outcomes and alignment. 3. Take a phased approach. New equipment, processes and systems will require new habits and changes to existing ones. #industry40 #digitaltransformation #smartmanufacturing

Linkedin has an incredible depth of content that one can access and engage with. Whilst traversing the far and wide corners of LinkedIn I continue to stumble across endless but valuable content and insights by the onle and only Jeff Winter The reality is that digital transformation is not without it's challenges, in order to turn the ship there are a wide range of things that need to be carefully considered. In most cases the opportunity that exists through successful digital transformation is clear, but it's going to take some work to get there. Three pieces of advice from Jeff Winter: 1️⃣ Chart you own course - your journey is unique to you 2️⃣ Collaboration is key - it's a team sport 3️⃣ Prepare for the long haul - this won't happen overnight Digital transformation take business commitment, it's going to take time and things will change at most steps along the way. #digitaltransformation #changemanagement #collaboration #businesstransformation
