Kicking off the Fall conference season with a fantastic Insights Association CRC in the Big 🍎 ! Thank you to all fellow research suppliers and brand-side professionals for stopping by the booth to learn more about in-the-wild testing (and to grab a growable planter!) A note of appreciation to all speakers and panelists for sharing your experience and moving the industry in the right direction. The following sessions heavily resonated with the Orchard Team - lots of sound bites to take back to the team! Respondent Revolution: Addressing the Need for Improved Research Experiences (Charlie Rader, Reed Cundiff, Greg Kline, Barry Jennings) Key Takeaway: It's past time to focus on creating the best respondent experience. It's goes deeper than offering fair incentives, can be as simple as making sure the stimuli you expose participants to 'makes sense' out of context, and ensures their opinions are heard. How Panera Bread Cleared the Clutter to Drive Growth (Jess Gaedeke, Amy Pacer) Key Takeaway: People often assume new innovations will mean a premium price passed on to the consumer. It doesn't have to be like this, and in fact, some of the best innovations are meant for more price-sensitive consumers. At Understood.org - How to Get to the Stickiest Insights: Ask Users Who Sit Outside the Mainstream (Blair Arthur, Eleni Matheou) Key Takeaway: When conducting product research, start with the consumers who would never use your product. This is a cheat code to identify potential product blind spots (this sounds counterintuitive but trust us, Understood.org has it down). Beyond Breakthrough: Delivering Messages that Resonate (Jesse Epstein, Chloe Taylor) Key Takeaway: Ensuring your brand/product's message hits with consumers is half the challenge. 'Future-proofing' your messaging, so that it stands for something larger than just your brand is the true unlock to win consumers. Visit orchard-insights.com to learn more about our approach to understanding real consumer behavior. #CRC #researchconference #MRX #insights #inthewildtesting #IACRC2024 #innovation Orchard

The Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) is a project founded by Adobe in 2019 to promote digital content authenticity and provenance. It was later open-sourced to maximize its impact and foster widespread adoption of content attribution standards.
🎉 Celebrating 4,000 members! The CAI now spans five continents and multiple industries — including creators, media organizations, technology companies, camera and smartphone manufacturers, educators, NGOs, and many others. Together, we’re shaping a more transparent, trustworthy internet. Our work is focused on accelerating awareness and the global adoption of the C2PA’s Content Credentials, digital “nutrition labels” that allow us to reliably understand the origins of what we encounter online and whether AI was involved. "Reflecting on our membership milestone, the CAI and C2PA represent more than technical standards or industry alliances," writes Santiago Lyon, Head of Advocacy and Education for the CAI. "They signify a cultural shift toward accountability and trust in digital content." 🟡 Read https://lnkd.in/ephaSagP 🟡 Join us https://lnkd.in/gXkGtZ3s

This is an encouraging sign of what is to come. 👏 The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) will expand in both scope and size bringing experts in data, digital and AI from the Government Digital Service (GDS), the Central Digital and Data Office (CDDO) and the Incubator for AI (i.AI) to unite efforts in the digital transformation of public services under one department. In addition to driving forward a modern digital government, the Secretary of State will lead DSIT to accelerate innovation, investment and productivity through world-class science and research across the economy, as well as ensure technologies are safely developed and deployed across the country, with the benefits more widely shared. 👏 The key message there is to develop and deploy technology more safely. 📣 If that doesn't happen then we will continue to hear about the consequences of IT failures. 😫 #qualityassurance #agiledelivery #testautomation #publicsectorinnovation
We'd like to give a warm welcome to DSIT's new Secretary, Peter Kyle 🤝 We are excited for what's to come, with new innovative projects, collaborations, and the unifying partnerships DSIT will forge to bring about sector-wide change. 👏 https://hubs.la/Q02FNLf10
