We are almost at the end of this extraordinary journey! The sessions and cultural exchanges in search of philosophy beyond borders continue. Great success for the last appointment of "Philosophy under the Stars" entitled "Minds", with David Chalmers professor at New York University and co-director of the Center for Mind, Brain, and Consciousness, and Maximo Ibarra, CEO of Engineering and professor of Marketing at Luiss. At DIA, all the sponsored presentations are titled "Innovation Theater". Is this just a poor choice of words? Or a brutally clear-eyed statement that we should only expect play-acting at innovation?

Was wonderful to see the impact of having arts and sciences come together on the subject of warnings and disaster reduction and having been able to contribute to this work. If we are to improve warnings we need to improve how we communicate, how we co-produce and co-create, and we need to join arts and sciences to do that! This is essential to help us better connect with people receiving, using and developing the warnings and across them. We need to go beyond merely advancing surveillance and detection. #artsandsciences #coproduction #cocreation #earlywarnings #EWS #disasteriskreduction
📢 Exciting news: we are out with #TheHutNexus first article! Written by Diego Giuliani, the article delves into the relationship between art and science, and how theatre can turn into a knowledge transfer tool to spread awareness about early #WarningSystems and #DisasterRiskReduction practices. 👉 Find the article at: https://lnkd.in/dwPPZAUb Photo courtesy of FullCircle PlaybackTheatre.

Culture is not only art or architecture, it is ethics, education and mindset. Economy is not only a system of money and banks, it is spirit. Nothing is for-granted. When the spirit is weak, it cannot sustain the system, so it collapses. Here is a truth about the European art industry that many don’t like to talk about. But it can be a hint. #EuropeanArtScene #EuropeanArtIndustry #ArtistsFrancais #EuropeanArtists #DeutscheKünstler #Selbstständig #SelbstständigeKünstler #EuropeanEconomy #Musiker #Sänger
