Three days, 22 speed dating sessions, and countless inspiring conversations with designers, architects, and lighting designers! Jannis Franzen and Sven Claes had the privilege of representing the PROLED GROUP at this year’s Europe darc sessions from May 14-16 in Troia, Portugal. 👉 Here are their key learnings and highlights from the event:  1. Efficiency through focus: By focusing on participants with in-depth expertise of the lighting industry, it was easy to immediately get to the point. We felt that every interaction was valuable and meaningful.   2. Quality over quantity: The caliber of attendees and the event's cost-effectiveness outshined many larger trade shows. The structure and precision were unparalleled, making every moment count.  3. Spotlight on innovation: Our smart tracklight series stole the show! The overwhelmingly positive response and the buzz it generated were very rewarding.   4. Networking: We had the opportunity to connect with key industry players, paving the way for future collaborations and putting us on the radar of the core EU lighting industry. Sustainable exhibition stand design: Berlin-based IT service provider syspro started 4 years ago with a modular exhibition stand from Modulap with 16 sqm stand space. Since then, syspro and the Berlin-based agency sense:ability have continuously expanded the stand. All elements are being re-used and re-combined depending on the required stand layout. At this year's EUROCIS 2024, syspro and the RFID Network presented a multi-functional, multimedia brand space on a stand area of 144 sqm, set up much faster than comparable exhibition stands, with an integrated transport system and without avoidable waste. This is how syspro delivers impressive trade show presentations - saving time, money and valuable resources.

Located in Göttingen, Germany, the Sartorius Quarter features a spacious event area which is designed for up to 600 people. With five fully automatic Variflex ComfortDrive systems provided by Dorma Hüppe, the space can now be thoughtfully divided into up to four smaller spaces that provide the optimal setting for many different events. Automatic operation not only increases the convenience of assembling and dismantling the elements, but also allows the elements to be set up in a specially staggered manner. This was particularly important for this project as the parked elements are arranged in front of a ventilation system, and this allows the airflow to pass through the elements. 𝟯 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 the London EV Show 1️⃣ 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺: people eager to introduce relevant partners to grow the EV infrastructure. We’ve been pulled into very interesting discussions thanks to the other exhibitors. 2️⃣ 𝗨𝗞 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: CPOs demonstrates a full understanding of complying to the 99% SLA and therefore are much interested in changing for always-on cellular connectivity (eg Semtech) 3️⃣ 𝗔 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 for the quality of the exchanges and contacts 𝟯 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 for next edition 📝 The lack of physical badges impacts spontaneity and prevents opportunistic meetings 📝 Putting some recyclable carpets (rather than none) would make a warmer atmosphere for the guests 📝 For higher value partnerships, avoid changing the floorplan without prior notification to the exhibitors Again really good show: The amazing in-person meetings with people hyperactive online illustrates the power of this community: Scott Edy⚡Scott Rose Andy Papa Peter van Zuylen 🌱Lee Godwin Dan S.
