The Subject was – “Peering into the crystal ball of supply chain visibility”   🤝 Miebach conducted its first chapter of “Miebach GCC Pro-series” in Dubai. The event was held in Dubai and MENA leaders across industries came together to share their views and challenges on this important topic.   🎯 Here are some insights from the discussion –   Current State of Supply Chain Visibility across organizations remains patchy. Most organizations are struggling to get visibility across partner network on both ends of supply chain. Across E2E SC, Warehouse operations managed by mature 3PL & FMCG industry has good supply chain visibility. Distributor & retail data is the most challenging and least visible part of SC Data quality disparity, Siloed operations & who will take the initiative are some of the key blockers to invest in supply chain visibility for organizations. Organizations with integrated operations enjoy higher visibility. However, there is little automation. Manually updated Spread sheets continue to be the norm due to lack of business case.   🎬 What can organizations do to take this forward – Start small with most impactful process and build over time Focus on the downstream network.
