Did you know the effect of X-ray exposure when transporting cell and gene therapies? Join our live webinar where our experts Andrea Zobel, Claudia Pierenz, and Hans-Peter Scherzer will share essential insights about dangerous goods classification and X-ray screening requirements. We'll cover the latest UN3245 GMO transport regulations, radiation exposure impacts, and practical guidance for safe, compliant shipments. Bring your challenges for an open Q&A discussion. Join us on Feb 20 at 2:00pm CET for a session of practical knowledge sharing. Register now: https://lnkd.in/eejkQgzh

With the constant presence of EMFs, PFAS, pesticides, GMOs, gene editing, and more, it’s crucial to understand that these aren’t just buzzwords—they’re realities that we’re increasingly exposed to. Each of these elements contributes to a growing burden on our bodies, challenging our immune system’s capacity to detoxify and adapt. Join us at AAEM’s upcoming conference where we explore the theme of “Everyday Exposures.” Uncover the hidden factors in your daily life that could be affecting your health. It’s time to become aware and proactive about these exposures to protect our health and well-being. Let’s explore these issues together and discuss actionable steps we can take to mitigate their impact on our lives. https://lnkd.in/gdSDntfi

The primary goal of global poultry production is to optimize the amount of chicken produced per square meter of floor area. Supplemental curcumin improves birds’ growth, behaviours, and immunity by lowering oxidative stress, enhancing humoral immune response, and modulating the suppression of growth-related gene expressions in broilers raised in high stocking density circumstances. curcumins antioxidant properties reduce free radicals and improve broiler growth.

We are greatly excited to announce that our research team published a new paper in Nature Plants 🌿! – Herbicide-resistant plants produced by precision adenine base editing in plastid DNA We have successfully developed herbicide-resistant plants using a precise genome editing for chloroplast DNA, that cannot be achieved with CRISPR-Cas9. This is a good example that shows the proprietary and unique Chloroplast Gene Editing technology of GreenGene, which has been further optimized with UDG (the uracil-N-glycosylase gene) for its specificity, minimizing off-target editing even with specific homoplasmic outcome. After a thorough technical and science-based review by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), we received non-GMO certification. This confirms that no external genes have been introduced and that no other mutations have occurred in the chloroplast genome, thus, the plants are not subject to GMO regulations. The new paper published online on 26 September is available at -https://lnkd.in/e9aYNiX6 #GreenGene #Chloroplastediting #Herbicide-resistant plants # Natureplants #non-GMO

1wAre you thinking about radiation exposure when you are entering a flight? Perhaps a cell & gene shipment is beyond your seat and you both are exposed to the same radiation. Do you need to protect a cell & gene therapy from the environment e.g. a temperature excursion or the environment from the DG classified cell & gene therapy? Let‘ s discuss these questions in our webinar Feb 2025.
