This year is shaping up to be an exciting and transformative one for the agri-food sector. With the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) leading the charge on the '4 betters' approach—focusing on sustainable production, health, environmental stewardship, and holistic living—we at the World Food Forum Ghana are inspired to bring these principles to life right here in Ghana. Our mission is to bridge the gap from grassroots initiatives to national impact through the institutionalization of Regional Focal Persons for all the sixteen regions of Ghana. These focal persons will take up this initiative right from the community, district, and regional levels. Agri-food systems encompass everything from our food environments and supply chains to consumer choices. All these elements are interconnected through the '4 betters' framework, which emphasizes the resilience of our food systems as a powerful strategy against food insecurity in our country. This year, we are committed to advancing the agri-food systems agenda by forging strong partnerships with both the private and public sectors. Together, we can turn this vision into reality and create a brighter future for Ghana. World Food Forum FAO
