I am delighted that we acquired 25 Victoria Street, London in December 2023, on behalf of our European Impact Property Fund (EIPF). Building and construction are at the heart of climate transition, considering their major impact on global carbon emissions. In that context, BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management (REIM) launched EIPF in 2020 as one of the first European property funds aligned with the Paris agreement, intending to pioneer the fight against climate change.   - EIPF, an Article 9 Fund, is our Pan-European multi-country and multi-sector fund, with an ambitious target of generating a positive and measurable environmental impact, alongside robust financial returns.   - The Fund’s strategy targets, on average, a 74% reduction of greenhouse gas emissions across its portfolio within 10 years, in its aim to support climate transition to a low-carbon economy.   - Marking the 10th acquisition for the Fund, 25 Victoria Street is a Grade A building comprising 53,652 sq ft (4,984 sqm) of office, retail and leisure accommodation over a 0.25 acre site, within the Mayfair, St. James and Westminster sub markets. Last November, Greenland Hong Kong signed a Pre-REITs collaborative agreement with the Beijing-based real estate investment firm GoHigh Captial, aiming to jointly establish a Pre-REITs fund with the promising rental housing market. In the long run, creating a platform for public offering of REITs. Pre-REITs refers to the construction, operation and cultivation process of assets with the early intervention of investors for underlying assets that have the potential to issue public REITs, and exit through public REITs when the assets and market opportunities are mature.
