Hello from Durban, South Africa

Hello from Malaysia

Racism is an international institution, deliberately designed by whites to colonise the world. Decolonisation Decolonisation is not merely about changing symbols or revising historical narratives; it is about dismantling the deeply ingrained structures that continue to perpetuate inequality and self-hate within Black societies. As people with darker shaded-skin tones, we must confront the legacy of individualism imposed upon us during the colonial era. This mentality, born from the horrors of slavery, has fragmented our identities and prioritised personal survival over collective progress. The time has come to build unifying identities that transcend the artificial divisions created by colonial powers. This transformative process involves: 1. Challenging and removing the symbols and systems that sustain a Eurocentric worldview. 2. Replacing the emphasis on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and material wealth, which often comes at the expense of human dignity and communal well-being. Let us move forward with purpose, knowing that the true measure of progress lies not in how well we emulate the systems of our former colonisers, but in how boldly we chart our own path.
