Reaching net-zero goals in healthcare facilities can be challenging, however there are methods and systems that can help sustain the individual needs of each building. It goes without saying that hospitals and campus-wide medical centers are enormous consumers of energy. With California embarking on an audacious new climate plan that aims to eliminate the state’s greenhouse gas footprint by 2045, hospitals need a plan to do their parts! The key to success here is incorporating energy-efficient strategies into the design, construction, and operation of new buildings and retrofitting existing structures.
