Training Session on Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) at the Workplace Conducted by High Court Advocate. We recently had the privilege of hosting an informative and insightful training session on Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace (POSH). The session was led by Advocate Deepak Sah, a distinguished Advocate of the Nainital High Court with extensive experience in gender equality and workplace safety. The session highlighted the responsibility of employers to implement Internal Complaint Committees (ICC) and mechanisms to address complaints related to harassment. Employees were also guided on how to approach the grievance redressal process, ensuring that their rights are protected at every step. Advocate Sah stressed the importance of awareness in creating a harassment-free workplace. Through engaging discussions, he demonstrated the significance of empathy, respectful communication, and maintaining professional boundaries. This session was a strong reminder that creating a harassment-free workplace is a collective responsibility, and with the right awareness and mechanisms, we can build a safer, more inclusive work culture. #WorkplaceSafety #POSHAct #Training #DiversityAndInclusion #EmployeeWellbeing

“Coming out as trans- or gender nonconforming in the workplace can be frightening. There is often a legitimate fear of retaliation, including job loss, harassment, or even assault. Creating a framework for such employees to experience psychological and emotional safety is vital.” During this #PrideMonth, learn more about the experiences of transgender employees by checking out an article from the archive (published by Bernie McCann, PhD, CEAP) about how we can support trans and gender non-conforming employees. https://lnkd.in/gBR-DYXk
