World Wide Fittings, Inc. was excited to have a group of ARM (Automation, Robotics, And Mechatronics) students from the College of Lake County visit our Vernon Hills, IL global manufacturing headquarters recently. The ARM program aims to get students in manufacturing exposure to real world applications in the field of Automation, Robotics, and Mechatronics. Students and staff go on tours of local facilities every semester to learn about safety and OSHA related protocols, ISO processes and procedures, and how the manufacturing practices learned in their curriculum are applied in manufacturing environments. World Wide Fittings, Inc. is investing in educating the next generation of #manufacturing and #fluidpower professionals, and looks forward to hosting many more of these tours and events in the near future. Thank you College of Lake County and Dr. Ahchiyski for bringing your students to our facility! Chad Holt
Its great seeing such interest with fellow students and school faculty! Always a pleasure showing off the facility and what we do! 😊
Very cool for college students to get a chance to see robotics in action!
