This concept was new to me until yesterday, and I must say it was a fantastic experience at 100club’s founders networking event. Each participant brought a dish for a potluck! 🍱 What stood out to me was how this format allowed everyone to mix around and eventually gravitate towards those with more synergy. It's a brilliant way to organically connect with like-minded individuals who share similar visions.💡 Throughout the event, I got to hear so many inspiring stories from people in different industries—everyone is impacting the world in their own way. It was a powerful reminder of the collective strength within our varied pursuits.💪🏼 I had the chance to share about my work in Young Leaders Collective and was pleasantly surprised by the enthusiastic response. The highlight for me was meeting another founder in the education industry and we are in the midst of joining forces to amplify our impact on youth empowerment! Thank you everyone for this wonderful gathering! On another note, I am seeking collaborations with nonprofits to bring youth mentoring to underserved communities. Hello… it has been a while since I’ve been on here 🫣. One of my main social media accounts got hacked recently. While I have done all the necessary reporting, I am not counting on getting it back so soon (or if I ever will). Goes to show that you should always be prepared for the worst, no matter how “well prepared” you think you are. So for 2024, I will (try) to share more of what I am up to here. Among new things that will keep me busy for this year: 1 - being part of a new NGO for business women and women leaders, to be launched soon. 2 - launching of Referral Club for entremarketers (ask me what this is if you are curious ☺️) 3 - organizing a few leadership programs for teens 4 - planning a forum on children’s rights and development And perhaps more “surprises” to come 🤗… Anyway, it is not too late to wish everyone a happy new year! May 2024 brings more happiness and blessings to us all.

We believe capacity building is at the epicenter of organizational effectiveness. Yet historically in our sector, it hasn’t worked as well as it should. It’s expensive – each org has to figure it out for themselves – and typical “white paper” offerings often don’t take into account the practical complexities of how nonprofits will implement in the real world. Each year, in collaboration with our members, we create a series of cohort-based Capacity-Building Program Tracks designed to solve for these challenges. By looking across our 100+ member orgs, we work to understand what the most urgent capacity building priorities are in our community, and then design deeply responsive, high impact programming. This programming is: 1️⃣ Included in our membership fee with no additional cost to member orgs, enabling more leaders to do more of it. 2️⃣ Done in cohorts, so that peer learning and accountability are built in, enabling leaders to understand all the ways these same needs and challenges show up across our sector. 3️⃣ Explicitly designed not as a “white paper,” but a series of practitioner-led sessions resulting in a co-created blueprint that leaders can take back to their orgs, ready for implementation.
