Posts are used to create anything that is potentially time sensitive, like blog content, and pages are intended for content that will almost never change, like your site's home page, About Us, or Contact page. Learning the difference between the two will help prevent things from getting messy as your website continues to grow and you publish more content if you now realize that you've been using. Posts When you should have been using Pages, there's an easy fix. You can download a free plugin called Post Type Switcher that will allow you to switch a post to a page and vice versa in just a few easy clicks. You can either go into the block editor and find the post type option on the right, click on the post link and select the page option from the drop down, or you can change an individual post type using the Quick Edit option while viewing all posts in the WordPress dashboard.
