Hiring Trucking Drivers? Avoid this... This is how most trucking companies advertise to get Truck Drivers, but still struggle to find them. -Hiring Drivers! -Drivers Wanted! -Come Join our team! Do Truck Drivers see your ad? Yes Do they know what it means? Absolutely! So you might be thinking.... Why are they not taking action? Here are a few reasons at the top of my head why these ads aren't as effective anymore: - It's not benefit-driven - Sounds desperate and needy - "I'm hiring! Please come work for us now" - It's outdated and unattractive It's crucial to understand that the Drivers you're looking for have likely been burnt in the past by other companies who advertise the same way you do. So do you see why you shouldn't follow the masses? To stand out and attract quality Drivers, you must be different and do better than them.. If you want to be more effective with your ads and attract better quality drivers for your company, and differentiate yourself from competitors I can help, DM me "Drivers"

⭐ For the past 12 months, I've had an email campaign running targeting (only) 1,000 CDL drivers per month, and here are the prelim results: 12,024 emails delivered 19% open rate 15% click-to-apply rate ~$24 cpa (direct apply) Targeting: CDL A, OTR drivers, dry van & reefer loads, at least 1 year experience, mainly east coast 💡Email campaigns are a great strategy for: > ongoing hiring (evergreen driver jobs) > driver hiring events > new markets > local markets (down to 15 miles) > tough markets > targeting by endorsements (hazmat, tanker, etc.) > new bonus/pay increase announcements > new equipment announcements ...and much more Shoot me a note if you're looking to layer automated emails into your media mix! #jobsintrucks #driverrecruiting #recruitmentstrategies #emailmarketing

When I’m hiring a driver, there are 4 particular qualities I’m looking for. (Here’s something I wouldn’t normally reveal). Yes, I do look for experience. Yes, I do look for a good attitude. But I mostly look for these 4 things: 1. A safety-conscious mind. This is a dangerous industry. A truck driver who understands and respects basic safety principles, mass/dimensions, fatigue and load restraint. But I want to see that this driver lives and breathes safety, first and foremost. 2. Attention to detail. You’re carrying thousands of tonnes of steel on the road. It can be a weapon if not used correctly. I want to hire a driver who knows their trucks and their HVNL obligations to a tee and, if they don’t, their willingness to learn the detail. If you can’t do detail, you can’t do trucks. 3. The ability to handle stress This is not a cosy office job. Things will come up that you don’t expect. Whether that’s something as simple as a traffic jam on a key route or something as terrifying as hitting a kangaroo. I want to feel confident that you can handle the job when things don’t go to plan. 4. A strong ‘why’. Yes, I know you want to be a truck driver because it pays. But I also want you to show me that you’re a driver for a personal reason – whether that’s because you love driving, you love being outside or you generally love the industry. I want you to tell me your story, and how my company can play a role in that story - otherwise you'll come and go, and recruitment and training is incredibly expensive. Anything I missed?

🚛 Big Moves in Trucking! 🚚 Ever wondered where the heart of the US trucking industry beats the strongest? It's all about location, location, location! 📍 In my role, I've seen the ebb and flow of demand for CDL drivers across the country, and there are definitely hotspots where the need for these road warriors is consistently high. Here's the inside scoop: 🏆 The Midwest: It's not just the crossroads for several major interstates; it's a hub for freight and logistics, making states like Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana top spots for CDL driver recruitment. 🌉 The West Coast: California's massive economy means tons of goods are always on the move. The ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach are bustling gateways for international trade, demanding a fleet of drivers to keep goods rolling. 🍑 The Southeast: With a growing population and an expanding industrial base, states like Georgia and Florida are on the rise, creating more opportunities for CDL drivers. 🗽 The Northeast: Despite the challenges of dense urban areas, the Northeast's concentration of people and businesses ensures a steady need for drivers in states like New York and Pennsylvania. As a VP of Sales for JobsInLogistics.com, I'm not just watching these trends; I'm actively helping recruiters tap into them. Our platform connects the dots between the supply of skilled CDL drivers and the regions where they're needed most. We're here to make the hiring process as smooth as the open road. 🛣️ Whether you're looking to hire or seeking your next gig in logistics, reach out and let's shift your career or company into high gear! #TruckingJobs #CDLDrivers #LogisticsCareers
