Good ideas except Green rooftops does not work in places with deep freeze winters (can only plant annuals - high cost) and high speed winds (high cost of care - plants dry out quickly and physically stressed, plants and installations can get blown away - hazard, damage from hail and tornadoes)

On the other hand, we should also emphasize, that the initiatives must be properly communicated to local residents and in the best scenario, the communities must be involved in the development of the sustainable solutions for the cities. Only with approval of local residents these initiatives can be successful.

Absolutely! Nature-based solutions are pivotal in bolstering urban resilience.

Urban landscapes are ecological unbalanced and inherently non sustainable.Urban centre’s are energy guzzlers and water wasters.

That's the way to go! I think Copenhagen is worth being mentioned here, too. The city integrated green roofs into its climate adaptation strategy, mandating green roofs in most new local plans since 2010. 🌳
