We are pleased to introduce a new member of the WR Wealth Planners team, Alan Hintz! Born and raised in the Midwest, Alan learned from an early age that anything worth pursuing is worth the dedication and effort it demands. Having spent 28 years in the banking and investment management industries, Alan brings an abundance of knowledge and experience to our advisory team as he embarks on a new chapter of his career. Alan's journey through higher education began at Iowa State University, where he earned a degree in Ag Business. He then ventured into the world of banking, first as a dedicated bank regulator and later as a meticulous bank internal audit officer. Driven by his ambition to excel in the industry, Alan decided to further his education at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, where he earned an MBA in Finance. Armed with his MBA, Alan took on various roles focusing on researching investments, trading securities, and skillfully managing multi-billion-dollar investment portfolios for insurance companies. His work ethic, commitment to professional development, and desire to be fully armed with the best practices training led him to attain several essential certifications, including a CFA charter, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Fellow - Life Management Institute (FLMI) designations. Beyond his professional achievements, Alan is also a devoted family man. He and his wife, Diane, recently relocated to Southwest Florida, where they are still settling in. They find joy in their daily outdoor exercise routines, exploring the diverse culinary delights of the area's restaurants, and indulging in occasional beach outings as they explore all the region has to offer.
