One of my top recommendations for those I have mentored is to ensure that nothing breaks in responsive design with your portfolio. When attempting to review a portfolio from a work computer at a large company, we are often blocked from accessing the portfolio website for security reasons. More often than not, when I have attempted to view someone's portfolio before an interview, I have had to do so from my mobile phone. This also applies to templated websites like Wix and Squarespace for your portfolio! Make sure to be selective when choosing a template as some may not be of high quality. You can preview designs before you pick them, resize the window, and see what shifts or potentially breaks or becomes illegible. #jobhunters #responsivedesign #portfolioshowcase #portfoliowebsite #portfoliodesign #jobapplicationtips #uxdesign

Had a good laugh at this career page design—it's like deciphering a secret code. A friendly suggestion: for future job seekers' sake, make sure your applicant requirements are legible and aim for responsive #design :) ❌ So, unfortunately, “No, it doesn’t sound good.”
