Whenever you have new swimmers, one of the best ways to get them on track is to have an ‘onboarding’ process, where you use your best strategies to help them learn the key skills as fast as possible. And when these swimmers are coming from within your club or organization, I’ve found it’s best to prevent any problems in the first place. Having a skill development PLAN for each step of the process is going to result in seamless transitions from group to group. That means faster swimming and less headaches.
