The March of Dimes' cause to end preventable maternal health risks and death, end preterm birth, and close the health equity gap for every family intersects with WTS’ mission of the global advancement of women and minorities. Today, as we attend their annual Transportation, Building, & Construction (TB&C) Award Luncheon, we are showing our support by donating to and volunteering with them. We are also taking it a step further and collecting/donating 45 packages for parents of children in the NICU via a Community NICU Baby Shower, held in conjunction with the MOD in November. Today, we were proud to participate in the City of Philadelphia’s Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week event at the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)’s Business Opportunity Forum! The 40th annual Philadelphia MED Week provided minority business owners with connections and resources to help them grow. This year’s theme was “Investing in the Future: 40 Years of Helping Minority Businesses Lead the Way.” As an organization dedicated to creating a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable transportation industry, we support M/W/DBE businesses with meaningful networking events, mentoring programs, panel discussions, as well as investing in future business owners with academic scholarships! #AdvancingWomen #AdvancingTransportation #WTSPhilly45in45
