What was my worst period as a founder? ⛔️ I'd say it was this. 2018 - major overwhelm. Pregnancy, babies, international moves and regional expansions don't always sit well together. Who knew 🤯 The fact is major 'achievement' will always come at a cost, probably with a sacrifice. 🙏🏼 So we need to make sure we have that bandwidth and space to make it in the first place. As I explain in my forthcoming book I was advised to drop it all and put it on pause. I didn't quite go that far but lessons learned and red flags noted. ✨Achievement is important, but consistency is what truly achieves success. #founderjourney #advisory

Sometimes the marketing moment happens without you even trying 💁🏼♀️ Recently there’s been a bunch of videos coming up on my FYP of people sharing wholesome moments caught on their Ring cameras 📸 My fave one so far has to be this one - a couple updating their neighbours everyday about their pregnancy until their baby arrives 👶 The comments were exploding with marketing suggestions, with the top comment being “I can see the TV ad now… Ring - never miss a delivery again” BRILLIANT 👏🏼 Antler Social #tiktokagency #tiktok #tiktokmarketing #tiktokstrategy #tiktoktips

Parenting from adoption is different than parenting biological children. It is important to know adoption always involves trauma. How? Because even in the very best adoption cases (healthy birthparent, stress free pregnancy), there is separation. This is a jarring transition even for infants. Here are the top 3 books we recommend for adoptive families. These books review helpful tips on how to successfully parent adoptive children who have experienced trauma, how to support children with sensory needs and they dive deep into understanding the brain science of children and parent behaviors. Have you read any of these books? If not, are you adding them to your "to be read" list? #OAAdoptOH #InfantAdoption #TeenAdoption #AdoptionJourney #AdoptionCommunity #TraumaInformedParenting #ParentingTips #AdoptionRocks #AdoptionIsLove #adoptionawareness #adoption #traumainformedpractice #traumahealing #traumarecovery #traumaawareness

"Because it’s a natural process, it means many pregnant people feel like they can’t call in sick or not show up to work or parts of their life when they feel just as terrible as an ill person who could. We persevere through feeling absolutely terrible, often scared of work finding out or losing our jobs, or through the necessity of having to keep up with childcare and other responsibilities." ...now add the pressure of running a startup into the mix and trying to keep it together for national telly. For honest insights into pregnancy, startup life as a female founder, and new realms of tiredness, check out our Founder Alice Pelton's new substack ✍️ https://lnkd.in/eeh6NP3F
