I'm still convinced instead of spending 7 million on a superbowl ad, most of these brands could have activated an influencer marketing campaign and literally changed the lives of hundreds of micro to large influencers while simultaneously tapping into the exact audience they were hoping to reach. I look at SuperBowl ads like a big boat going fishing. No real strategy. No real type of fish you want to catch. You just know the spot where there is fish. You essentially cast a wide net and see what you can get in return. Instead.... Activating an influencer marketing campaign along with organic social and community management could yield more long lasting results. #SuperBowl #marketing #socialmedia #socialmediamarketing
