It is early in the morning. It is cold and foggy – and our service department is as always on the go and is assembling a brand new Kalmar Super Gloria reachstacker with 130 ton lifting capacity 🐘 This majestic Kalmar DRG1300-92ZX reachstacker is of such size and weight, that it is always delivered to customers in a partly dismantled state. This is done to not exceed physical on-road criteria such as width, height and weight and axle-loads. When it arrives at customer site, the dismantled parts need to be re-fitted. Dismantled parts – that sounds like minor parts that are easily re-fitted. However, just one of these parts – in this case the upper part of the counterweight – weighs in excess of 15 metric tons alone. The combined dead weight of this machine when fully assembled is 123.980 kilos. On top of that comes the 130 metric tons of lifting capacity – when fully utilized. #uniktruck #handlingheavy #bigforklift #bigreachstacker #renewableenergylogistics

Salvagnini Australia was founded in Melbourne, in the state of Victoria on 3 November 2023, making it one of the newest Salvagnini Group locations globally, together with Salvagnini Vietnam. 🏢The facility, consisting mainly of offices and a spare parts warehouse, has 6 employees who work in assistance, sales, administration and service, for the areas of Australia and New Zealand. Although the premises still smell of fresh paint, these areas have been a particularly interesting market for Salvagnini for over 40 years! As Graziano Sbicego reminded us👇: "In 1983 I was given the chance to travel to Australia, to install two S4+P4 lines in a company that manufactured refrigerators. (...)
