What is a #commodity? According to the Oxford English dictionary, a commodity is an economic good with substantial fungibility (https://lnkd.in/egDgekxU). From this, one could only conclude that the most important (yet undervalued) commodity in the world is... #toiletpaper! It’s a vital resource that has never, and probably never will be, dethroned in its place and value to human society. And just like precious metals, we can all agree this vital resource needs protection. Fear not, we have your toilet rolls’ back. You can think of our Raphael Versatwin Dispenser as toilet rolls’ Fort Knox. Raphael keeps your rolls safe from #wastage, pilferage (yes it happens), dirt, water, and worst of all, falling into the toilet bowl. Unlike Fort Knox, who charge considerable handling fees for their troubles, Raphael saves you money while you safely house your toilet paper. By solving these problems, implementing Raphael could represent #savings of up to 46% on your annual paper spend. Protect your #paper, keep your cash, and reach out to me on +44 28 9084 8595 or simply book your #FREE CONSULTATION by using the link in the comments below. I look forward to working with you! It's Fix a Leak 2024. Old or worn-out toilet flappers (e.g., valve seal) can cause leaks. This simple rubber device holds water in the tank, then releases water into the bowl when the toilet is flushed. Because the rubber can wear out, the flapper should be checked periodically and replaced at least every five years to ensure a good seal and avoid leaks. An old or worn flapper can cause your toilet to flush on its own or silently leak thousands of gallons a year. Replacing a flapper is a quick and easy fix that will save water and money. This week is US EPA "Fix A Leak Week". The EPA estimates that 1 Trillion gallons are wasted with household leaks every year. And many of those leaks are too small to be accurately measured by the water meters in use today. 3 Drips per second from a faucet can amount to 520 gallons per month or 6420 gallons per year. However, most mechanical meters that take 1/8 GPM to start moving, and that is about 160 drops per second. There are two ways to improve this loss. First is to encourage end users to check for leaks and fix them at their faucets, shower heads, and toilets with advertising for dye/food coloring tests. We and supply test kits and a program for utilities to promote to their customers. Second is to upgrade to newer ultrasonic water meters that improve low flow measurement from 1/8 gallon per minute to nearly 1/100 gallon per minute. We also market smart ultrasonic meters that can improve low flow accuracy to incentivize fixing leaks by charging for the lost water. https://smpl.is/8uih1
