Very interesting "contrarian opinion" from Sachin Rekhi about the "Death of MVP Model" at the Reforge Podcast with Fareed Mosavat. He thinks the entrepreneurs should now work towards a "Minimum Delightful Product" - MDP. The great Agustin Soler always talked about this. Food for thought. Found this idea on a podcast. Start your own food forest in your backyard. I haven’t endorsed any communities here before, ever. I believe people may appreciate this one. I think this community can help improve many facets of people's family and home life. Meet people who’ll help you not only turn your backyard into your little garden of Eden. But moreover meet others who will help you save tons of money at the grocery stores. Learn how to turn your home/yard into a self-sufficient piece of paradise. They do it without chemicals. They offer referrals. Managing your own food forest is actually easier then maintaining your lawn. Goto https://lnkd.in/ezVNPUeC

How do we consider concepts of equity and diversity in land use and zoning? In this Infill Development in Edmonton Association (IDEA) podcast (with Mariah Samji and Ryan Eidick), I spoke about the work I led for the City of Edmonton to ground their Zoning Bylaw Renewal Initiative with a robust equity and engagement lens. In developing the tool, I prioritized the inclusion of people and voices traditionally left out of the conversation, personal introspection of our individual/collective responsibility as policy makers to shape inclusive spaces, and acknowledgment of our own role in perpetuating policies that harm marginalized communities. This work became the City Manager’s top 13 transformational projects in 2022, and led to more inclusive land use regulations, a SSHRC funded study on how to substantively embed equity into land use through a legal lens, creative communication tools (e.g. comic books, podcasts, videos, playbooks) to support accessibility into civic governance, deepened relationships with people with a range of backgrounds and identity factors, and a toolkit for public sector servants to advance this important work.
