What are ways to approach emergency room overcrowding? Interesting article from Becker's highlighting 5 hospital's approaches. The 32% reduction in emergency room utilization is pretty impressive with #5. While I would be curious to know how and what metrics are being used to measure the success of the others, my favorite approach from these five is #4 which involves root cause analysis. I agree with Doug Della Pietra, M.Div.'s sentiments on this. Which of the five approaches resonates most with you? #healthcare #rootcauseanalysis
Facilitating personal and collective transformation, most especially through emotional, psychological and spiritual healing, and resilience
I especially like #4 and #5 in the examples because they look at system, systemic, and holistic approaches, recognizing that overcrowding is not only a hospital challenge but a community (human, environmental, financial, cultural, societal, etc.) predicament. https://lnkd.in/giJJ-R2J
