Some good thoughts for how we need to move forward!!

There is little question but that expertise collapsed, but it is not for the reason you have articulated, it is due to a failure to draw parallels in the middle of a pandemic. The consequences of that failure has resulted in the imperiling of the immune competence and cognition of not only the current generation, but that of the future one. This is not the first time that we have encountered a virus that depletes CD4 cells, is persistent, there is an aversion to non-pharmaceutical interventions, vaccines are not protective, and there is forward transmission. Of course, I am speaking of HIV and it was made known on September 28, 2020 that SARS-Cov-2 possessed the ability to deplete the CD4 compartment, as does HIV. That this hallmark was shared was once again described in March, 2022. In September, 2022, Covid-19 was added to Merck Medical's website directly under HIV. What has been described as "brain fog" is actually neurocognitive impairment equal in magnitude to that of HIV Associated Neurocognitive Decline, as was found by Dr. Apple at UCSF. There have been pockets of Tuberculosis reactivation. Were these individuals HIV positive, the diagnosis would be AIDS. One can only conclude that the pandemic represents a failed society shaping exercise as millions experience a decline in their CD4 population, cognition, kidney function, and liver function. We find ourselves the only generation incapable of saving itself or that of the future generation.
