Today is #GlobalTigerDay! Established in 2010, this day marks the collaborative efforts of 13 tiger range countries aiming to double the wild tiger population by 2022. With 3,682 tigers, India has the largest wild tiger population globally. WWF-India has been a key player in tiger conservation since the 1970s, significantly contributing to 'Project Tiger' and operating in 38 of the country's 56 Tiger Reserves today. Join us in celebrating the majestic yet endangered tiger, and support our vital conservation work to protect them and their habitats.
