For those interested to take part of their studies in Indonesia

I want to help 5 undergraduate or law students… Who are still looking to secure summer internships in the environmental space… Maybe they’ve been overlooked because they don’t attend a “top school” or their GPA isn’t “stellar”… Maybe they haven’t looked in the right places and aren’t seeing opportunities… Maybe they’ve had a few interviews but keep getting passed on… And they’re probably freaking out because it’s mid-April and they don’t have a summer internship yet. I’ve been in your shoes - it sucks. But it doesn’t have to. If you’re an undergrad or law student interested in a career in the environment and are still looking for a summer internship. Please comment on this post! I also need help from prospective employers… If you’re an employer who does environmental work or could benefit from hosting a summer intern interested in environmental work - please comment on this or contact me (I’ll drop my email in the comments). I’m collecting names of candidates and employers… On Friday May 3rd at noon EDT I will host a short private virtual networking “Meet & Greet”. Students will have an opportunity to give their “elevator pitch” and employers will get a chance to ask questions and speak about their company. I’m looking for students genuinely interested in the environmental space and employers genuinely interested in hiring summer interns. Help me get some students employed this summer!

One thing I’ve enjoyed learning about most at my internship so far is phase one environmental site assessments (ESA). Although reading a phase one environmental site assessment was tedious, I learned a great deal from it. I learned many acronyms and terms used daily by environmental professionals; just a few examples include, REC (Recognized Environmental Condition), BLM (Bureau of Land Management), and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency). More importantly, I learned how phase one ESAs are written and what they can do.
