With Kowanyama access cut off early this year due to road conditions, our CEQ team have been working hard to make sure that Gas stocks were available this week for the local community…and just in time for Christmas. 👉🏼Gas supplies are a critical need in our remote communities during the wet season each year. To make sure the Kowanyama Community can access gas over the holiday season, our team have organised road transit by truck to Pormpuraaw and then an additional 12 helicopter trips slinging the gas to Kowanyama across 2 days. Some days ago, at Keelung Port, a vessel delivering a new crane accidentally collided with an older crane, causing it to collapse. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
