One of my favorite presenters (and people), Ed Spears, recorded two short videos on DC fast charging here at #Eaton's #PittsburghPSEC. This one in the photo link below discusses the operation and the 2nd one that I'll attach as a URL is a simple installation overview: https://lnkd.in/g7qEXSNq. Thanks Ed!! Check these out if you have an interest in DC fast charging applications. Come to visit if you want to see this unit in action. #eatonexperience

Check out! June's Trending Tech Topic: Increasing ⚡ EV🔌Charging System Reliability Through Proven Surge Protection Practices Link 🔗 : https://bit.ly/4evvBUV ... In 2023, Plug-in America released a survey of electric vehicle owners. One of the questions asked was, “What are the most significant concerns with existing fast-charging networks?” 46% of public DC Fast Charging network users considered broken or non-functional chargers the most significant problem1. One solution is to harden EV chargers from the impact of surges originating from thunderstorms or utility service interactions. #ieeepes #trendingtech #electricvehicles
