Senior Content Specialist at Meta (Instagram & Facebook)| Ex- Dailyhunt, Times Internet, ByteDance, TVF | Entertainment | Video Production | Creative Strategy | Social Media
Stop exploiting job seekers by creating misleading job titles in the creative/production field! It's unfair to advertise a role as a "video specialist" only to reveal a job description that includes Ideation, Scripting, Shooting (direction/dop), Editing, VFX, and SFX - a job that technically requires 4-5 people. While some may possess these skills, it takes years of learning and experience to truly excel. Let's be transparent and respectful to candidates by accurately representing the roles we're hiring for. Had to say this. #jobtitles #hiringprocess #transparency #videoproduction #linkedin #connections

Stop lying in job adverts. I cannot express this enough. A Production Assistant is not a phone sales position or a booth promoter. A Marketing Coordinator is not a door-to-door salesman. Misleading job seekers is wrong! #recruiters #recruitment #transparency #employerstandards

DISTINCTIONS BETWEEN CAMERA OPERATOR AND VIDEOGRAPHER 1. Camera operators focus solely on camera operation, while videographers handle both camera work and post-production tasks. 2. Camera operators often work on larger productions with a crew, whereas videographers may work alone or with a smaller team. 3. Camera operators require expertise in camera equipment and operation, while videographers need skills in editing software and visual storytelling.
