Last weekend, crowds witnessed the awe-inspiring future of experiential at The Sphere in Las Vegas. This massive dome-shaped venue immerses attendees in a wonderland of the senses. With its colossal wraparound LED screen and 168,000 speakers, The Sphere is going to be the destination for the most heightened version of concerts and other immersive experiences. Its exterior LED screen can even be seen from space. At XP Land — where experiential is everything — we’re always looking for the synergy of collaboration. The list of artists and creatives involved at this early stage is impressive, from U2, who were the iconic opening act — and whose visuals were designed by Es Devlin — to artists Refik Anadol and Marco Brambilla. The Sphere plans to host three to four artist residencies per year, promising a steady stream of groundbreaking experiences. Aside from U2, the venue is currently showcasing “Postcard from Earth,” a unique blend of sci-fi storytelling and nature documentary directed by Darren Aronofsky. And this November, DreamWorks Animation will be the first to premiere a brand campaign on the outside of the dome — or the Exosphere — for the next installment of the Trolls franchise. Our question: will astronauts at the International Space Station be able to see those Trolls? #TheSphereLV #ExperientialEntertainment #NextLevelInnovation #XPLand
