For those who are interested, German eVTOL giant Lilium has officially entered the Chinese market, and Ehang is reportedly launching pilot trials carrying tourists around Wutong Mountain. Earlier this year, Shenzhen introduced new legislation, the "Regulations on the Promotion of the Low-altitude Economy Industry in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone." These regulations aim to guide financial investments and mobilize social capital towards the low-altitude economic sector. In recent days, the National Civil Aviation Administration has approved Shenzhen's proposal to establish a comprehensive demonstration zone for the national low-altitude economic industry. One of the hot topics among netizens and foreigners alike is airspace, particularly military-civilian airspace integration. Today, we are seeing a rollout of plans and task forces to address this issue—an issue that has been ongoing for the past two decades. Progress over this time has been incremental. In this report, I look at Guangdong's Special Task Force, which is designed to tackle this issue among other things.

MUNICH is the best place to be! according to Lufthansa Innovation Hub, V2Air, Roland Berger and Unisphere. In a massive research project the best places to launch a Advanced Air Mobility have been identified. Six factors have been analysed to find the best spots: 1. Terrain 2. Airspace 3. Authority 4. Weather 5. Area 6. Time Saving The results: Munich is in the Prime zone of future Advanced Air Mobility, offering best viability and best feasibility. So ODONATA is in one of the best spots in the world, and the best in Europe for its business to bring an eVTOL with about 1,000km range and a payload of up to 800 kg to market. Our use cases of crossing the alps from Munich to lake Garda confirm excactly those results. Saving time, saving money and having less stress on the road.

Enhancing fleet appeal through strategic design integration across three different but at the same time common aircraft types can elevate operational dynamics. Employing this approach at PRAGUSA.ONE , one aircraft type serves as a route pioneer, another facilitates scalability, and the third one maximizes capacity and profitability. Is it a good long-term strategic decision? Just 👍 or not 👎 Guess the type of aircraft starting from the closest one. #avgeek #airlines #airbus #travel #aviation

Global Sky has pre-ordered VoltAero's Cassio electric-hybrid aircraft at the Bali Air Show, signaling a step forward in sustainable aviation and innovation for regional air mobility > > https://hubs.la/Q02QX5mB0 Global Sky signed an MoU for 15 Cassio aircraft, enabling the two companies to collaborate on defining routes and operations for these electric-hybrid airplanes, to determine airport compatibility and define the recharging infrastructure at such facilities, and to develop a regional Cassio distribution network. Jean Botti, VoltAero’s CEO & Chief Technology Officer, stated that Cassio is perfectly tailored for operations in Indonesia and throughout Southeast Asia, saying; “Among the aircraft’s designed-in advantages are the patented dual-source electric/hybrid propulsion system for safety in over-water flights, a low-noise footprint for operations to ecologically-sensitive airports and in after-hours services to deliver freight/cargo, the large cabin and highly accessible loading/unloading for medical airlift flights, and the single-pilot certification for business and private owners/operators.” Read more on the AAMI website 🔗 VoltAero GLOBAL SKY #mobility #aviation #aerospace #aircraft #innovation #transport

Last year German based Lilium, was awarded 'Design Organisation Approval' by the EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency. The company's eVTOL jet will feature large premium cabins with capacity for up to 6 passengers plus luggage & zero operating emissions. And the company is on a path to decarbonizing air travel. SAUDI AIRLINES & Lilium signed a binding sales agreement for 50 Lilium Jets, with options for the purchase of 50 more. The sales agreement, which follows the MOU between Saudia Group & Lilium signed in October 2022, marks the largest of its kind in the MENA region & represents an important industry milestone as the largest reported firm order of EVTOL aircraft by an airline that plans to operate the aircraft. It is understood the jets will support Hajj & Umrah pilgrimages, offer faster access to key sports & entertainment events in Riyadh & unlock new possibilities for exploring hard-to-reach tourist destinations across the country. Furthermore, the jets are expected to reduce regional travel times by up to 90%. And the first batch of jets are expected to arrive in 2026. Saudi Arabia plans to invest approximately $800 bn into tourism over the next decade as it aims to host 150 million tourists per year by 2030. #decarbonisation #sustainability #aviation #saudiaarabia #mena #middleeast #germany #macroeconomics #netzero #eu
