New on Wonkhe: Justine Andrew and Debbie McVitty explore how to move the conversation about strategic collaboration in HE from speculative to practical https://lnkd.in/eEa3ZQcg "In early July, Wonkhe and KPMG brought together a carefully selected squad of higher education sector and institutional leaders, thinkers and strategists to engage in a structured discussion about opportunities for a more radical approach to pursuing efficiency through collaboration. We wanted to see if it was possible to startle ourselves out of the usual conversational grooves of “nice idea but too hard” and collectively generate some big ideas that could give some shape and momentum to discussions about sector transformation and long term sustainability. Our aim was, by approaching the conversation in a collaborative manner with the right people engaged, to move beyond the warm words and theoretical and into the practical across a range of options."

We have so many award lists reserved for people 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 20, 30, and 40. That's cool and all, but how about we push for some new standalone recognitions from the likes of PRWeek, Forbes, Fast Company, TechCrunch, etc., dedicated to (wait for it) people 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 40, 50, 60? Let's call it the "Wisdom Winners" or "Wisdom 50 over 50", you get the idea. Major bonus points if the people selected were relative late bloomers or second actors who hit their stride well after the typical prodigies. People like Morgan Freeman, Rose Blumkin, Bernie Marcus, Ray Kroc, Henry Ford, Martha Stewart, Toni Morrison, Lucille Ball, the list goes on and on. The more resilience, the higher the ranking. I would love to delve into this type of award list, would you?
