Last year, a fashion designer friend approached me with a common problem: losing customer measurements. Determined to help, I developed both an app and web platform tailored to his needs, aptly named MOHAUTE. This comprehensive solution streamlines measurement management for tailors, allowing users to effortlessly save, edit, and delete customer measurements. For the Android app: - Crafted with Kotlin, Android Studio, Retrofit, MVVM, and Room database technology for seamless data storage. - Integrated online capabilities for remote access. - Leveraged RESTful APIs and third-party libraries to enrich functionality. - Available for exploration on GitHub: https://lnkd.in/gC5GSSqQ For the web app: - Engineered with Node.js, Express.js, Axios, Mongoose.js, EJS, Kotlin, Retrofit, and Multer. - Visit the web platform at https://lnkd.in/gC5GSSqQ. This endeavor resulted in three distinct products: 1. An intuitive Android app. 2. A robust RESTful API. 3. A dynamic website. I am currently seeking opportunities in Android development, whether it be internships, projects, full-time positions, or contract work. Additionally, I am open to backend development roles utilizing the Node.js framework, both remotely and on-site in Abuja, Nigeria. #Android #kotlin #AndroidDevelopment #AndroidDevs #Letsconnect #FashionTech #TailoringSolutions #TechInnovation #AppDevelopment #WebDevelopment #MOHAUTE #nodejs #expressJs #problemSolving #XML

Crafting Innovative Frontend Solutions to Everyday Challenges: Elevating User Experiences through Code. Development Team Lead at Rock and Art - UK | Computer Science, Frontend development, Software Development
Hi everyone! As a frontend developer based in Nigeria, I've found that working with multiple screens has been a game-changer for my productivity. While it's not a requirement, having two or more monitors has allowed me to have multiple windows open at once, making it easier to switch between my code editor, browser, and other tools. It's especially helpful when working on complex projects that require a lot of multitasking. Do you work with multiple screens as a frontend developer? Let me know in the comments! #frontenddeveloper #Nigeria #multiscreenworkstation #reactdeveloper #lagosdev #softwaredeveloper #softwareengineer #softwaredevelopment #softwareengineering #programmer #coding #javascript #webdeveloper #devops #angular

I haven't worked in software development since I was laid off about a year ago. The job market is highly competitive, and salaries are lower than before. In order to enhance my chances of employment and catch up with relevant technology, I need to re-learn iOS Development. Learning a lot will be useless if the outcome is not clear, so I need to strategize for this activity to achieve better results. One of my strategies is listing job posting requirements. Additionally, I'm curious about job postings in other countries, and I found something interesting from a small example: 1. Job posting formats differ slightly between Indonesian and other countries. 2. Some super apps are starting to move to Flutter using the strangling method, while smaller companies are opting for React Native. 3. Requirements can vary significantly between companies. If you have any advice for me, please let me know. Thanks!
