This weeks #CarbonQuestion is... "How does AgriProve monitor that I'm implementing good grazing practices for carbon sequestration?" AgriProve utilises a range of spectral data captured by satellite to monitor the project area for soil and plant health indicators. This allows us and our partnering landholders to gauge how current grazing practices are influencing carbon sequestration. #soilcarbon #soilhealth #carbonfarming #carboncredits #regenerativefarming

The key to unlocking a plant's true potential lies in maintaining precise environmental conditions. Cultivators understand that controlling temperature and humidity is crucial to achieve the perfect Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD) for each cultivar. At Desert-Aire, we specialize in indoor cultivation equipment, offering our customers the advantage of our exclusive VPDsync technology. This technology ensures the most stable growing environments, setting our facilities apart from the crowd. Desert Aire LLC. #IndoorCultivation #EnvironmentalControl #VPDsync #DesertAire

Happy World Environment Day! As one of the world's leading agriculture networks, Viterra plays an essential role in meeting the world’s demand for food, feed and renewable fuels, ensuring our operations do not come at the expense of future generations. This year's theme for World Environment Day is #GenerationRestoration, which focuses on land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience. At Viterra, we aim to source only from responsible producers and are improving the transparency and traceability of our supply chains. For example, in #Brazil, we have been increasing our geospatial capability, using satellite imaging to build on our traceability progress and verify our sustainable sourcing criteria, such as non-deforested land. Discover more about what we do to improve the traceability of our supply chains here: https://lnkd.in/eRQGnVAk #theagriculturenetwork #WorldEnvironmentDay

5 pro tips for a successful hydroponic growing operation by Jon Greene 🌱 1. Know your water - RO water (clean) water, is a good water source for hydroponics. If you're using tap, well, or rainwater; an analysis may be worthwhile to understand what's in it. 2. Balance the nutrients - Make sure you use an EC meter to ensure your nutrient strength is within the correct range in your solution. 3. Optimum pH - Maintain the optimal pH level so your nutrients are soluble and mobile in the root zone. 4. Plenty of oxygen available - whether this is from an air stone, diffuser system or running an NFT system where it's picking up enough oxygen. 5. Optimal light, temperature, humidity, air circulation and CO2 - controlling your growing environment goes hand in hand with thriving plants. Would you like to learn more?
