The term "Jyotirlinga" combines the Sanskrit words "jyotis" (radiance) and "linga" (sign). According to the Shiva Purana, there were originally 64 Jyotirlinga shrines in India, but 12 are considered the holiest. 🕉️ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 12 𝐉𝐲𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬 These sacred shrines represent different manifestations of Shiva. As a fencer, specifically an épéeist, and a reporter on the energy sector, the sentiment behind this is huge. Both in my sport and in my work, I constantly see players big and small (literally and metaphorically) overcoming their limitations in the pursuit of something larger than themselves. Excuse the pun, but the task of decarbonising #energy is Olympic. In fact, at times it seems impossible. But, the sheer amount of #innovation we report on at Smart Energy International and Power Engineering International - and which all comes together during Enlit Europe in #Milan later this year - is always incredibly encouraging.
