YachtSoft hull fairing (with the HumanUI interface) is approaching Beta testing. I will probably create 35-40 hulls of various types in the next few days. And fix any hiccups I come across. I have Alpha tested as I developed and have found 9 bugs, 8 of which I have fixed. If you see phantom transom slice-surfaces appearing magically in the video, that's Bug #9. The HullZero app can now make many of the most common hull shapes. Every spot requires a unique approach. When encountering a blemish, we begin with the least intrusive methods to see if the repair is possible. This situation is no exception. Here is a blemish on a high gloss metallic surface. This type of surface can be tricky to work with. Our method involved sanding with several fine-grit sandpapers followed by buffing. The development was the result of a collaboration between Platypus Craft and Evoy. The vessel resembles a platypus in appearance. It allows you to go deep and then lower its middle part underwater and explore shallow waters without the need for bulky scuba tanks. Platypus develops a cruising speed of 15 knots above water. It can accelerate to 25 knots if necessary. With the passenger compartment lowered, this speed is reduced to 3-5 knots for safer underwater maneuvering. The boat can carry 11 passengers at a time.
