This summer, I hosted 100+ college students for their annual Campus Ambassador Summer Training at our HQ in Atlanta. This is where they learn all about being an Ambassador and connect with leaders and students as they prepare to Refresh the World and Make a Difference on their campus. We inspired through capability and meaningful connections. The week was full of growth, connections, and tons of fun!!! I'm so impressed by this new class of Ambassadors and I know they are going to do great things on their campus as well as in their lives. It is my honor to serve this group and lead this program to recruit the next generation of Coca-Cola drinkers. But just like with anything in life...we don't do any of it alone! I have INCREDIBLE partners in my agency teams (You Are Here and Campus Commandos ), leadership team, teammates, interns, and friends who either led parts of this training, helped, or just participated in the week. Plus, our awesome production crew! It means so much to have their support and I'm eternally grateful for it. I could never do this alone. I am so beyond amazed at all the incredible opportunities I got to experience during my first year of being a Coca-Cola Campus Ambassador! If you had told me a year ago everything that would happen through this program, I would not have believed you! This year I got to attend: - Summer Training in Atlanta, Georgia - Fall Incentive Trip in Atlanta, Georgia - VIP Tour of Six Flags - 2 Phoenix Suns Games - WM People's Open - NASCAR Race - March Madness Music Festival - March Madness Championship Game - Spring Incentive Trip in Orlando, Florida - VIP Tour of Disney World - VIP Tour of Universal Studios - Country Thunder This year I completed - 14 Sampling Events - 20 Social Posts with my reels receiving thousands of views - Activation Promotions with Swire Coca-Cola, USA - Campus Leadership Meetings to increase program outreach This year I was awarded - 2023 "Stand Out New Hire" Award - Shadowing Opportunity with Marshall Roach - 2024 "School and Bottler Nominations" Award The biggest lesson I learned this year is simply: Why not? Why not ask about this opportunity? The worst they can say is "no", and a "no" is not forever! Why not pitch yourself? You work hard to be a great candidate for offers. Why not share your services? So much can be gained through learning experiences. Why not go the extra mile? You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. The phrase "Be ready for when opportunity knocks" is false. You have to be the one knocking on opportunity's door. Working for The Coca-Cola Company and in collaboration with You Are Here has given me the experience of a lifetime and has shown me that fearlessly pursuing your dreams does pay off. I am so excited for next year and to continue refreshing my campus and making a difference!
